Artist's Statement
I have been painting for more than fifteen years. My jewelry is an extension of my paintings. I like the abstractness it offers. Most of my paintings come out more realistic than I intend to. When I am designing jewelry I'll be inspired by a certain object but my creations will capture only the essence of it.
I like to make jewelry that will last forever. I like to think of them passed down from one generation to the next as a cherished possession. I make them out of natural stones, fresh water pearls, sterling/fine silver and filled gold. I also make my own glass pendants and pins by fusing them in a kiln and incorporate them in my designs.

my jewelry should the need arise.
