I was born and raised in Sri Lanka and grew up with five brothers and sisters. I came to The USA to continue with my studies in Physics. Since then I worked as a software engineer in the Bay Area. Meanwhile I took many different classes in art. These classes were like a breath of fresh air to me. They kept me painting through my busy schedule.
For her Seventh birthday my daughter received a bead kit and of course she wanted me to play with her. From that day on I was hooked on designing jewelry. I still paint but spend more time making jewelry.
I am now a full time artist and live in the bay area. I have two glorious kids who light up my life and a wonderful husband who supports me in my many artistic pursuits.
